Hideki, hailing north from Hokkaido, is what one would call a "relic from an era long gone." Trained in the ways of the samurai, he believes in the code of Bushido, and lives accordingly through his every day life. Thus, it goes without saying that he is more than a bit troublesome person in a modern environment like OLYMPUS. However, despite the problems and troubles his old-fashioned ways may cause, he makes up for it with his gentle personality and earnest desire to be helpful. He is the type of person to never leave someone in trouble alone, and would go out his way to help those in need. Some may view this as an annoying habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, but Hideki has very little sense of "private matters." If he decides something is worth of his attention, he will fully concentrate on this matter until the problem in questions is solved in a way that he feels satisfied with. Therefore, one could call him a troublesome helper... but there aren't many to call him that to his face. It is that earnest drive that makes him hard to hate, after all.
While Hideki is part of ARES and thus can often be seen directing some event or helping in peace-keeping duty, that is not where his true calling lies. After all, by his very nature, Hideki is not a very violent person. Instead, thanks to his roots, Hideki is naturally good at cooking. Whether it is glorious ingredients grown in Hokkaido or just the typical stuff he can get from supermarket, Hideki is a person who can whip up a dream-like dinner in a surprisingly short amount of time. Even his pet hawk, Isosange, is treated with surprisingly fabulous snacks whenever he does something good. This calm and collected boy seems to think that a good meal can mend any hostile relationship, and more than often, he is right. It has become something of a good-natured joke amongst the Taima that if Hideki is seen cooking, some people have just been arguing in the dorm, and it has once again fallen to the Samurai of the Kitchen to fix this worrisome situation. Of course, often he also does.
Where to Find: Hideki often trains in the few of the woodlands found in OLYMPUS after every school day.
