"Believing in yourself is easy. A true challenge is believing in others."
Erwin Eifer Schwert is a relatively late newcomer both to OLYMPUS and to its branch of the Order of the Templars. He will eventually be the Master of Dreamer, but as of this moment he's a fresh representative of a less than popular faction.
Erwin is the type that can easily be mistaken for being smug or self satisfied. In reality, he is a very impressionable young man whose confidence in himself is propped up by his devotion to the Lord he serves, resulting in an almost unceasing torrent of barely repressed optimism. He tends to be unfailingly polite towards strangers, polite yet insulting towards those he dislikes, magi especially, and exceptionally eager to interact with those he considers allies, to the point where he honestly believes that every member of the Templars should be friends with the others so that they may engage in jolly cooperation in hunting down magi. This naivety is a symptom of a rather focused upbringing. Having had the values set down by the good book drilled into him, Erwin struggles to uphold the seven cardinal virtues at all times, to rather mixed success. While generally an affable fellow, he has little tolerance for the heresy he was trained to combat. However, due to a recent event prior to his arrival at OLYMPUS, he is taking initiative to spread out of his own cage and try new things, leading to an excess of curiosity in all things, especially the affairs of other students, and those strange things people call 'friends'.
